If you've never been on my blog before, welcome to That Girl Lifestyle101. Today I think I'm going pure girl talk when I say Hot Girl Summer.
My Life Update:
So I've got one more week of school before summer and I just wanted to get my routine down and perfected before it starts. I really want to start it off right because if I start that way it motivates my for the rest of the weeks.
Ok, I'm gonna get into it because we have A LOT of ground to cover.
Habits I'm trying to build over summer/ Goals:
- Go for daily walks/runs
-Watch the sunrise/sunset
-Spending more time outside and less on my phone
-Getting down on those🌟Manifestations🌟
- Maybe getting more content out there
-Really living in the moment
-Do my Summer Bucket List ( I'll get to that in a different post)
-daily Journaling
-Actually read ( go to the printables to download the books I plan to read)
I know habits are hard to build but I thought the summer would be the perfect time to start since I have so much time on my hands.
I think these are some really important things that I need in my life and I think they would help some of you guys too.
Journaling:
Personally, I think journaling is really important as an outlet for any negativity you feel. It helps me kinda let go of my past anger ad resentment and instead of holding it in, which so much energy and time and pain, it just frees me and lets me feel the pain, the anger, the resentment that I've kept pent up. For a fleeting second, I feel the emotion before its gone. Just writing this down daily is bound to seriously help anyone going through anything. Its a valuable asset in the healing process. It also helps you live in the moment. Everyday, I try and write down 5 things I am grateful for and it literally brightens my day.
Manifestation:
I think if you say it it will become real for 2 reasons. #1 If you really believe it, YOU unknowingly, will make it happen #2 It makes you more optimistic so it helps you to become closer to your goal. Manifesting is crucial for this lifestyle, because it really helps with being optimistic.
Reading:
Just builds your knowledge frankly. Find some interesting books from Pinterest- you can visit my books board. I haven't read all of them but I think this will give you a perspective of nice books that I would read. Then visit the Z Library and download it. Right now I'm reading it ends with us by colleen hoover and its really good. So that's about half of my list so I'm gonna stop there but I'm gonna do a part 2 about the more materialistic side of things. Hope you enjoyed reading this and it helped you.
